Christ Church Clifton - Breakfast Run
The Christ Church Clifton Breakfast Run takes place every Saturday morning. Volunteers (usually a team of 4 or 5) meet at the Crypt at 6:30am and prepare bacon sandwiches and flasks of coffee and tea. These are then taken out to various locations in the city, ending up at the bus station at 8am. A typical run will involve meeting up to 40 homeless/vulnerably housed people.

It is a request of the PCC that all volunteers must have undertaken some form of training before working with the homeless in any capacity on behalf of Christ Church. The introductory session of the BCAN homeless training course can be found at the following website - http://www.bcan.org.uk/bhf/training/
If a prospective volunteer is unable to attend a training session then he or she will be allowed to go out on a Breakfast Run with an experienced leader only if they have signed to say that they have read and understood the notes relating to the BCAN Introductory training session. A form for this purpose and the training notes can be obtained from Amy.
Christ Church's food hygiene policy, 'Enabling Hospitality', is also available from the church office, and from Amy.
