Cathy Brodie
Cathy was born in NE India, to missionary parents, and had a happy childhood, growing up in Darjeeling. Secondary education was completed in Edinburgh, and further education in Glasgow, where she worked as a secondary teacher of English for 12 years. During this time she was introduced to St Silas Episcopal Church, liturgy and the Anglican Tradition.
Sensing a vocation to pastoral ministry, she trained at Trinity College in Bristol. She returned to Glasgow to serve as Director of Pastoral Care at St Silas in 1997 before joining the staff team at Christ Church in 2007.
Cathy is passionate about the healing, transforming power of loving, authentic, Christian community, along with its potential for effective outreach and witness. She loves walking in the beautiful SW, cream teas, knitting and detective movies.
