Training in evangelism
As Christians, we know that the good news about Jesus is too good to keep to ourselves - we long that others will come to faith in Christ as well.
At Christ Church, "Going" with the gospel is one of our core priorities. God calls all of us to be missionaries in the particular harvest field where he's placed us - whether that's at home, in the office, on the building site, or at the school gate.
But sharing our faith can be hard work - it takes prayer and perseverance, and can lead to opposition.
As part of our evangelism strategy at Christ Church, we hope to hold a termly training session in evangelism. Over time, this page will also link to a variety of web-based resources which might help Christ Church members with their own personal evangelism. Watch this space!

Wednesday 23 April 2008, 7.30pm,
downstairs in Christ Church.
We will have a meal together,
and spend some time in training
as well as encouraging one
another and praying for each
other. Cost £5 (for food).
The focus for our training will be
Bill Hybels' short but challenging
new book on personal evangelism, "Just walk across the room."
