"to grow in Christ together"

We can't live with God as our Father without also living with fellow Christians as our brothers and sisters. Our size means that at Christ Church it would be easy to turn up as part of a crowd of several hundred each Sunday and yet never know what it is to be drawn into the sort of family relationships that the New Testament speaks of when it speaks of our life together as God's people. That is why we have smaller groups who meet each week to encourage one another to keep going and keep growing in the Christian life.

  • Home groups are groups of about 12 people who meet weekly in someone's home.
  • Home groups are where we gather round God's word and help one another to understand and apply what he is saying to us.
  • Home groups are where we pray together and care for one another.
  • Home groups are where we can start to encourage one another to use the gifts that God has given each us to serve others.
Our prayer for Home Groups is that through them we would grow up (in Christian maturity) and grow out (in Christian service and witness).
