Ministry Assistant Scheme
The ministry assistant scheme is split between practical ministry, training and working in a specific area of church life.
Our desire is to see people trained and equipped for a lifetime of service. There are lots of opportunities to work with others to pastor and teach them, with support and training throughout this.
The course is tailored insuch a way so as to give hands on practical teaching and the chance to put that into pratice. MA's are trained in many different areas of church life and by many of our experiencedleaders. Over the year we look at improving our understanding of the Bible and how we teach it toothers. We also look at Christian doctrine and ministry issues.
We provide a bursary of £5500 per year, as well as accommodation and most bills. Accommodation is either with a church family or in achurch-owned flat and is within 15 minutes distance from the church building.
