The Parenting Course - creating vision for your family
The Parenting Course is led by parents from the church family of Christ Church. It takes place on 5 Wednesday evenings from 7.45pm for 8pm to 9.45pm at the Brentnall Rooms in the church building.
Each evening begins with a talk, followed by an opportunity to discuss issues raised in small groups with refreshments.
Topics covered include:
- How do families work?
- What do our children need?
- Where do we set the boundaries?
- How do we deal with anger in the family?
- What is our long term aim?

The course is designed for parents (couples and parents on their own) with children from 3 to 12 years of age. While it is based on Christian principles, the course is very helpful for any parent with or without a Christian faith or church background.
The cost of the course is £6 per person which includes a course booklet and refreshments. Please cheques payable to 'Christ Church Clifton'
