Prayer at Christ Church

"Unless the Lord builds the house, its builders labour in vain" (Psalm 127 verse 1)

Prayer is vital for everything we do at Christ Church and the foundation for all of our activities.  Prayer ensures that it is God we are relying on and not ourselves.

Monthly Prayer Meeting:  Every first Monday of the month we meet in the crypt to pray. This is a really important meeting for the Christ Church family when we pray for every aspect of our life together and also about our involvement in other parts of Bristol and beyond. The evening is divided into various short sections to keep things moving and if you are not used to prayer meetings - don't worry. You won't be made to pray out loud! You are very welcome to come and join in by listening and adding your 'amen' to other people's prayers.
