Sundays at Christ Church
8.00am Holy Communion
A quiet, traditional said service based on the Book of Common Prayer.
9.30am Morning Service with children's groups
11.00am Morning Service
A more traditional service with a chamber choir and baroque orchestra once a
month. This service aims to take the very best from traditional music and has
relevant biblical preaching at its centre. A few times each term, coffee is served
afterwards, with an opportunity for discussion with the preacher.
6.30pm Evening Service
Our largest service encompasses a broad age range, but includes a good number of students, older teenagers and young adults. There is an emphasis on lively worship with a singing group and large band. Central to this service is the bible-centred teaching which aims to connect God's truth with people's lives. Refreshments are served afterwards, and in term-time, a student group meets downstairs.

A service teeming with life for young and old, aiming to provide worship and teaching relevant to both adults and children. It tends to follow a simple structure with informal style. Most weeks, we divide into groups after the first 10 minutes or so, with teaching groups downstairs and in the locality for children and young people up to the age of 14. Once a month, we have breakfast at 8.45am, and then all ages remain together (looking at 'questions children ask') for the whole service, although there is still a creche and group for 2 year olds if required.
