Born in Oxford, Tim spent most of his childhood and teenage years in Watford. Growing up as the son of a Baptist minister he was constantly surrounded by good Christian role models. He came to faith as a teenager during a worship celebration at a youth camp and was then involved in setting up weekly youth services at his church.
After leaving school, Tim worked for a year before studying for a degree in Theology, Music and Worship at London School of Theology. He has since worked as an assistant minister in a Baptist church and then as a music teacher in secondary schools.
Tim is married to Abi and they have three children - Beth, Ellie and Sam. When he's not spending time with the family, at his desk, playing a guitar or piano or rehearsing a group Tim enjoys sea fishing and will travel any distance to get his target species!
Tim joined the staff at Christ Church in April 2010. His role involves overseeing the music ministry, enabling others to use their gifts for the glory of God.
