Wayne Massey
Wayne joined Christ Church as curate in the summer of 2006. He spent three years training for ministry at Wycliffe Hall in Oxford and prior to that worked in London in the publishing industry. Wayne is married to Wendy, and they have one son, Jonathan. The accent may not be there, but Wayne is from Ireland and very proud of the fact. The weekends find him chasing a small white ball around a hockey pitch or shouting at a rugby match on TV.
Wayne is involved in the running of The Alpha Course, works with the 20's and 30's group and is also involved in the faith at work ministry at Christ Church. In addition he does many 'curate type' things, from leading and preaching to visiting, and from committee membership to occasional puppetering!
